8 Shows From Our Childhood That Should Have a Reunion

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNH chapter.

Nostalgia is a feeling we all know, get, and love, and for us kids growing up, watching television shows like Full house, Hey Arnold, Even Stevens or Kim possible was a huge part of our youth that we love and remember.  Seeing these shows on our televisions today would be a dream come true and luckily for us some of the producers from our favorites have heard our cries! Rugrats had an all grown up sequel, Boy meets world and some of its casts members returned for a spin off show called Girl Meets World that airs on Disney. Full house is in the works for a sequel based off of DJ tanner and her family where everyone comes together again to help her raise her children. That So Raven keeps dropping hints of their reunion, and just recently Dan Schneider released a mini episode of Zoey 101 to release what Zoey said about Chase on the time capsule which ended with a “to be continued…” And below is a list of 8 shows from our childhood that should have a reunion and follow their suit!

The Amanda show:Bring back the dancing lobsters! Who didn’t sit down to watch this classic? Between Moody’s point, Totally Kyle, The Girls Room, Hill Billy Moment, Judge Trudy, Penelope Taynt, Crazy Courtney, Block Blister, and Amanda’s Jacuzzi a reunion would be awesome.

Friends:

Breaks over Friends’ cast… Netflix did us all a favor by putting all 10 seasons up for us to watch and re-watch but in all honesty we just want the gang back together.

Sister Sister:These two twin sisters made growing up that much easier. Whether you idolized Tia; honest, responsible, mature and a straight-A student or Tamera, goofy, impulsive, loud, and outgoing, and were there for all their fights, school assignments, dates, the lowkey stalking by Roger, and took in Ray’s fatherly advice and Lisa’s bubbly personality, we all found something that connected us to the show.

Hey Arnold:Move it back to our tvs football head. This 90s cartoon classic made us fall in love with Helga’s twisted love for Arnold and Stoop Boy’s tendencies while also hitting on some real world matters.

Wild Thornberry’s:A reunion would be smashing! What kid didn’t travel alongside in the Thornberry’s RV? With Nigel and Marianne and their heart set on making a worldwide documentary, babbling Donny raised by orangutans, Darwin the voice of reason, Debbie always writhing in her teenage angst, and of course Eliza who personally made me go outside my own house to try to talk to animals.

Ned’s declassified:Why stop the survival guide after middle school! Us college kids need tips too and admit it you’d love to see coconut head get bullied some more.

Lizzy Mcquire:Lizzie McGuire was yet another show that helped get us through our adolescence. We were there when she finally got the courage to ask for a bra, when she got her heart broken by Ronnie but was then comforted by trusty Gordo, when her and Miranda got to dance with Aaron Carter in the Christmas special (admit it we all loathed those two in that moment), to relate to her having to deal with annoying little brother Matt, and of course when she sung in Italy with her look-alike after giving Paulo what he deserved.

Even Stevens:I just gotta know does beans still love bacon?! Even Stevens was another classic that kids of all ages could relate too. Whether you were in it for Ren and Louis constant sister-brother battling or to see what schemes Twitty and Louis could manage to create, there was comedic gold mixed in with heartfelt moments that make us crave more.
