Allergy season is upon us! As the weather gets warmer and trees start to bud and grow, the world becomes a lot prettier but sometimes that means we become more sniffly. Here are some ways to combat the allergies this season:

1. Nasal Spray – Whether it be a simple saline spray or something more intense, nasal spray can help with congestion and running noses.

2. Acupuncture – This ancient Chinese practice has been proven to help with allergy symptoms. And the good news: it is offered at UNCG through the student health center!

3. Protection – Know your triggers and protect yourself accordingly. For some this might mean avoiding going outside all together despite the nice weather.

4. The Classic Antihistamine – Benadryl, Claritin, etc… you know the classic antihistamine that works best for you. Start taking them regularly before your symptoms stop so that you can get ahead of the  pollen!
