Gracing our ears at 11 p.m. (for Midwesterners at least) on March 1, the Jonas Brothers made their very much speculated comeback with their new song, “Sucker.” With the beat of a DNCE song and lyrics similar to that of Nick Jonas’s solo career, “Sucker” has taken the #1 spot on Apple Music’s charts and we can only expect it to move up the other charts with their weeklong residency with James Corden this week. This release comes two days after the 10 year anniversary of “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience,” and it was all us fans could have wished for. The song itself is amazing, but this music video is the next level. Now, let’s discuss.

The Jonas Brothers have plenty of masterpieces on Youtube. Year 3000, Lovebug, S.O.S, the list goes on and on. This time around though, there was one difference… they had their ladies by their sides. I’m talking about Danielle Jonas walking corgis in a huge pink ball gown. Priyanka Chopra and Nick just being so in love. And let’s not forget Joe and Sophie just LOOKING at each other. This whole video was a musical masterpiece leaving subliminal messages in our mind that we really want candy right now––just kidding, reminding us that they are no longer available. We are happy stans blessed with new music so it is just fine that almost all of them are married. But Kevin, I see you with that outfit in the cover art and that boomerang that was posted on the official @jonasbrothers Instagram. Talk about rebranding.

Everything about “Sucker” was perfect. The only thing missing was the bonus Jonas, in my opinion. Franklin (Frankie) Jonas is totally old enough to finally be welcomed into the band, even if it just to stand in the back and play the guitar. I believe I speak on behalf of the thousands of Jonas Brother fans, both new and old, in saying that we never thought that we’d catch this lovebug again but boy oh boy we sure have. The brothers have drawn us back in, truly saving all of 2019 with this three-minute-and-one-second masterpiece. Go download and stream “Sucker” now my peeps.

She is always smiling with a kombucha in her hand & blasting her multiple Céline Dion CD's in her car because duh, the radio can't beat Céline Dion. On any given day she will gladly talk your ear off about Grey's Anatomy, stronger background checks for gun purchases and why immigrants are some of the most important members of our society.
