Her Campus: What is your position on campus?
Neal Querio: I am currently a writer for the University of Kentucky chapter of Her Campus.
HC: How did you get involved in the club?
NQ: I was in class with one of the administrators, Sam, and I received an email from her telling me about this opportunity and I decided to jump on it.
HC: What is your favorite part of being in the club?
NQ: The freedom to pursue all kinds of different stories.
HC: And, the biggest challenge?
NQ: Coming up with new and creative ideas for articles.
HC: What other things are you involved in on campus?
NQ: I was a writer for the Kentucky Kernel.
HC: What is your dream job?
NQ: Being a travel writer.
HC: What are your hobbies?
NQ: Reading, writing, seeing movies and plays, singing.
HC: What advice would you give to new students?
NQ: Try everything that’s available on campus. Even if you don’t like it, at least you can say you have tried it.
HC: What is your favorite memory at UK so far?
NQ: Probably sophomore year Halloween. It was just a great time with my friends and I had a great costume.
