Jessica Shelton: Writer for Her Campus.
HC: How did you get involved in the club?
JS: I heard about the relaunch via e-mail and knew it was something I wanted to be part of!
HC: What is your favorite part of being in the club?
JS: Just being able to write stories that people find to be relatable.
HC: And the biggest challenge?
JS: Finding time to write! Free time doesn’t seem to exist in college.
HC: What other things are you involved in on campus?
JS: I work for Kentucky Wildcats TV.
HC: What is your dream job?
JS: [To be a] television writer.
HC: What are your hobbies?
JS: Writing, collecting vinyl records, watching television and I’m thinking about giving knitting a try!
HC: What advice would you give to new students?
JS: Don’t stress too much! It’ll make classes much easier in the long run.
HC: What is your favorite memory at UK so far?
JS: Going to Dallas for the Final Four. I have so many memories from that trip. There’s no way I can pick only one!
