Hello, and welcome to the Fashion and Style section of Her Campus UH! Before we get started, it is important to remember everyone has their own styles. Our fashion is what makes each of us unique in our own way! Despite the fact we have all been stuck home, 2020 fall fashion is still the main topic being discussed currently. Personally, I love fall fashion, although the weather changes from cold to hot so often here in Houston. Today, I will be pitching 2 different ideas for what you can wear for this fall!

More of an edgy and 90s look, patched denims are making their way into 2020 fall fashion! I’m absolutely obsessed with this cool style of jeans and plan on buying a pair for myself. One of the more popular brands for patched denims is Jaded London. Their Brown Patchwork Denim Boyfriend Jeans are to die for! If you don’t prefer the brown color, they have a variety of other colors with the patched denim aesthetic. Definitely check out their website! Now if you don’t want to spend $87, and you’re balling on a
budget like me, a good alternative for patched jeans are Aodrusa Women Patch Flare Bottoms. Available on Amazon, these cute patched jeans have great reviews and on Prime! Compared to $87, these pants are $36.99, and with Prime, they are $33.29. - Sweater Vests

Layers, layers, layers. Layering different clothes together is always popular, especially when the weather starts getting cooler. It’s a great way to accentuate your outfit. I recommend sweater vests in particular because I love how it looks paired with a plain turtle neck long-sleeve top or with a button-up shirt. You can also find some good quality ones for a good price. Websites like Shein and YesStyle have a bunch of sweater vest options. On YesStyle, the V-Neck Cropped Knit Vest provides a diverse option of colors to choose from. If you’re not liking a cropped version, they have different options on their website!
