A Letter From Your Local College Gal

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UGA chapter.

The new school year recently started, and with that, there’s a lot more stress to worry over; things to learn about; and friendships to be made. There’s going to be a lot of fun experiences this school year, but also a lot more challenges. So, I wanted to give a little advice.

Take time for yourself this school year.

Relax, read a good book, or watch some Netflix. Just breathe and get your head back in the game.

Stay positive.

This school year is going to rock. Maybe this is the year you’ll get that great internship, or maybe this is your year to better your GPA.

Don’t be afraid to take risks.

Don’t leave any opportunity open. Do what makes you happy. Also, do chase your dreams.

Let this college year be your year.

Make memories, make new friends, and be your best self.

Last but not least, you’ve got this.

From your local college gal at Her Campus, kick butt this year.
