The Beginning Of The Semester As Told By The Office

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UGA chapter.

It’s that time of the year again, gals. The start of a new semester. The clean slate is oh-so refreshing. However, everyone will be in the middle of incredible amounts of course work before we know it. Here are some relatable moments as told by The Office to help start the new semester on a positive note.

That feeling when you wake up on the first day of class and you realize it’s not Winter Break anymore:

When the professor doesn’t believe in “syllabus-day,” and begins teaching material on the first day:

When you realize that you and your friends ended up registering for the same class:

When you visit your professor during their office hours to introduce yourself and they have no interest in speaking to you:

When you have to choose between having a social life, getting enough sleep and having good grades:

After you pay for tuition, fees and books for the semester, then you look at your bank account:

When you think a class is starting out easy…

…then you end up failing your first assignment:

When you’re determined to do better this semester, and you look at last semester’s GPA like:

When your professor assigns the first big project of the semester:

And when all of the work in every class hits at once, you have no free time for anything:

Wishing you all the best of luck this semester! Remember, you are Beyoncé. Always.
