Soffe Workout Outfit Review

Remember those white-banded shorts you probably wore to gym class? They came in almost every color, and they were really popular in the ’90s among cheerleaders. You may even still wear them today? At least I do. You got it: Soffe shorts!

I was lucky enough to receive an awesome workout outfit from Soffe — a pair of black compression shorts and a pink compression racerback tank top — and try it out during Spring Break. When I first opened the box, I was expecting the authentic Soffe shorts I remember from my childhood. But when I saw the black compression shorts, I got even more excited!

The spandex shorts fit just right around your thighs, so they don’t feel too tight, and you don’t have to worry about them riding up during squats or a run on the elliptical. They also have an elastic band to keep them secure at your waist. The racerback is better worn on top of a sports bra because it’s not exactly form-fitting. I actually think it’s somewhere in the middle, which is a plus. It’s fitted enough so that you’re not wearing a shirt two sizes too big but loose enough so that you’re not suffocating or constantly fixing your clothes.

Another great part of this workout outfit is that I barely felt the sweat, and I sweat pretty easily. I didn’t feel gross after my time at the gym, and I truly believe it’s because of the material used to make the clothes. This outfit is perfect for working out!
