The Eight Stages of Exam Stress

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UEA chapter.

Exam season is tough and whether we like to admit it or not we all go through various stages of exam stress. From crying and procrastinating to freak outs, here are the eight stages of exam stress as told by New Girl characters:

1) Procrastinating the night before your exam to a ridiculously high level

2) Feeling instant regret due to your lack of revision

3) Spending more time punishing yourself for procrastinating than working

4) Crying to your room mate in a desperate attempt for someone to do your exam for you

5) The angry breakfast the morning of your exam

6) Panic at opening your exam paper and freezing

7) Instant sadness at the state of your exam performance

8) Final acceptance and celebration
