Senior, Santa Barbra native, Travis Tibbitts, can most likely be found at the beach trying to catch a wave, or at work at the Outback Surf Shop in Sixth College. When Travis is not at the beach, he likes to explore downtown and catch a show or chow down on Korean BBQ and sushi.

Favorite memory at UCSD?
going to Nationals with the UCSD fencing team and meeting Jamie O’Brian at the Mission Beach Wave House. Also going to RedBull Switch house.

I’m a fan of the classics like a walk on the beach and then it has to end at Sushi Yaro, it’s the best!
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I use all my spare time for surfing. But, I enjoy all sports. I like to catch a pick up basketball game in RIMAC.
Favorite thing to do in San Diego?
I came down here for the surf, but the I am really interested in the music scene San Diego is unique in the fact there are always a tons of shows every week for a very affordable price.

Korean BBQ and sushi

Someone who isn’t afraid to give me a hard time, and is willing to be spontaneous .
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I definitely plan on living in SoCal and hopefully still sneaking in some surf time before work in a financial firm.
