January is coming to an end and HC commends you for keeping up with your New Years Resolutions. My NYR was to go to the gym; while I have been keeping up with my goals, I must say, it hasn’t been easy…especially when I’m doing cardio. Here are 5 thoughts that go through every collegiette’s head while on the treadmill.
1. “Wow, he’s cute… I gotta keep running so he thinks I am fit”
Bless the person who put the treadmills overlooking the pit in RIMAC. Cute boys lifting weights are my motivation!
2. “I’m doing good, I must be at at least a mile right now”
Looks at the monitor and has ran .40 miles*
3. When someone gets on the treadmill next to you, in your mind you are racing them and don’t want to be the first one to stop.
4. “Why am I doing this?”
At about mile 2 I always start to question my life decisions and think to myself that I just should have stayed home and watched Netflix in my sweatpants.
5.“What should I eat after this?”
Cause indulging after a workout makes sense, right?
