It seems as if the girlies have a new obsession on their hands.
Alex Cooper, an ex-collegiate soccer player, garnered her claim to fame with her hit original podcast Call Her Daddy. Call Her Daddy became the hub for all of the questions, advice, and relatable stories girls everywhere would want to hear. Over the years, Call Her Daddy has evolved from focusing on raunchy sex advice to now being centered around hard-hitting interviews with other celebrities talking about their lives, histories, and career paths. When Alex Cooper signed a 60 million dollar deal with Spotify for Call Her Daddy, her celebrity status was cemented.
Alix Earle quickly embarked on her rise to fame in 2022 by posting TikTok videos with her friends while a student at the University of Miami. As a college student, I was always really interested in her content because it was just so different from my school life and environment. Not only is Alix Earle beautiful, but she showed her audience a very real side of herself. Giving honest makeup reviews, videoing her nights out with friends, and dealing with the pressures of school — behind the beauty and the money, Alix Earle made me feel like she was just like me.
While I say these two women are relatable, they are in the content they talk about and in their life experiences. But the other part of their appeal is how some aspects of their life are so utterly unrelatable. Unrelatable in the way that they both jet set around the world at a moment’s notice. Alix Earle literally took one of her finals at a beach party during a brand influencer trip on a tropical island. And you know what — I wasn’t even mad about it.
While I would normally think this behavior is out of touch, there is just something different about Alix Earle and Alex Cooper.

As an avid Call Her Daddy and Hot Mess with Alix Earle listener, I stay pretty up-to-date with everything happening in their lives. I know all about Alix Earle’s latest fling “NFL Man,” and Alex Cooper’s upcoming wedding. Neither of these things impact me in any way, but for some reason, I am so invested.
All of my friends and housemates, even if they do not listen themselves, know what’s going on with both Alex Cooper and Alix Earle too, as their individual and joint stardom is one of the most popular things on the internet right now. They are almost unavoidable by fully dominating the social media scene.
As two of the most popular and beautiful young women in social media right now, Alex Cooper and Alix Earle are running the game. The best part of watching them both rise to fame is that they feel like a friend. A friend in the way that they are someone I can look to for advice and find relatable. To me, they are just two girls with really cool and successful lives.
