8 Mantras to Start Your Monday With

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCSB chapter.

With midterms either done or nearing the end, it is easy to feel exhausted, unmotivated, and just down right over the whole quarter. Mondays have become more dreaded than usual, and it gets harder and harder to motivate yourself to stop hitting the snooze button and go to class. Starting out the day with a happy and positive attitude can change your whole outlook on the day, making it easier to get through. When you need some inspiration or a smile, here are some of the best mantras to begin your Monday with!

1. “Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.” -Francis of Assisi

2. “I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have.” -Thomas Jefferson

3. “Optimism helps us perservere. Life isn’t easy. But life is always good.” -John Jacobs

4. “Stop being afraid of what could go wrong, and focus on what could go right.” -Unknown

5. “Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire.” -Jennifer Lee

6. “Whatever makes you weird is probably your greatest asset.” -Joss Whedon

7. “It’s a good day to have a good day.” -Unknown

8. “I am in charge of how I feel and today I am choosing happiness.” -Unknown

Happy Monday, Gauchos!
