5 Fall Favorites From Trader Joe’s To Pumpkin Spice Up Your Season

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCLA chapter.

I have written it once and I will write it again: Trader Joe’s has exceptional products. Fall is their time to shine and this year they have brought it all to the table. There might be some repeat offenders on this list, but for good reason. Without further ado, here is my list of five must-try products this fall quarter:

Caramel apple MOchi

First introduced to the Trader Joe’s fan club in 2022, the Caramel Apple Mochi took a special place in most of our hearts. Merely on their second year of production these guys deserve a spot in your freezer. If not for the caramely goodness in the form of the sticky rice wrapping, for the apple ice cream that is perfectly tart. Since we are in California, it is important to note that even though dressing up in sweaters and sipping on hot cocoa make all our fall dreams come true, our weather is built different. There will be hot days and nights of fall where instead of curling up on the couch you’ll want to lay in front of the fan and eat these!

Gluten Free Pumpkin Pancake Mix

If you’re not the biggest fan of pumpkin spice but still want to the pumpkin: Gluten Free Pumpkin Pancake Mix. Need I say more? Being gluten-free is not a choice for most, but when you fry these bad boys up in a pan you might reconsider. They have been around for a while now but for a good reason; you can’t taste the difference. Gluten-free or not, I know I want pancakes before school sometimes and the best part about it being a mix is that you can make them silver dollars or mega pancakes, whatever your heart desires. The pumpkin flavor is immaculate and the pancakes are soft and fluffy.

Scented Candle Tin Trio

Scented Candle Tin Trio include Autumn Leaves, Maple Sugar, and Spiced Chai. These new candles are the best smelling fall candles I’ve come across. Trader Joe’s has become increasingly popular with their candles lately and it shows why in the excellent quality of these ones. They are all soy wax candles, non-toxic and have lead free wicks which yes, is something you should be looking for. They are also ‘sample sized’ which is great for us indecisive folks; you can’t go wrong with lighting any of these.

Wicked Good MIni Chocolate Bars

The brand new Wicked Good Mini Chocolate Bars are a must-have for Halloweekend and after. Whether you will be going home to help your parents hand out candy or out to the frats, you will be stocked up on some familiar favorites. These candy bars seem like the whole package, featuring chocolate bars with some caramel, some cookie crumbles and some other surprises. Don’t skip out on these; I have a feeling they will be gone pretty fast!

Pumpkin Spice Granola Bark

Last but certainly not least, Pumpkin Spice Granola Bark. If you are a Starbucks PSL girlie, this is for you! The subtle layer of chocolate along with the pumpkin seeds and granola is simply delish. Yet another great combo that I would not have put together myself. For those of you interested, this product is also gluten-free! Such a great treat if candy isn’t your speed but you still want a little bit of sweet.

Ingredients such as chocolate, peanut butter and cookies are arranged on table.
