What are your extracurricular activities?

I am involved in the Vietnamese Language and Culture club and the Asian Pacific Health Corp.

What do you do in the Asian Pacific Health Corp?

Through my participation in this club, I can get certified for BMI training, taking blood pressure, and hypertension training. We also volunteer our time at the Monterey Park Health Fair where we talk to service recipients and shadow health professionals. I also have the opportunity to observe and help out with screenings for glucose, cholesterol, bone density, strokes, and mammograms.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

If I had the chance, I would travel anywhere in Europe.

List the top three things you can’t live without.

My family, unhealthy food, and the internet.

Describe to us your favorite place on campus.

The dining halls are one of my favorite places because it feels good to eat after a long day.

What’s one thing you miss about your hometown?

The quietness and tranquility of the suburbs.

Any fun facts we should know about you?

I went from not doing any sports in my life to running a marathon. I did not enjoy it at all… I hated it and I never want to run again.
