Interested in joining our girl gang? Her Campus at UCLA is extremely excited to announce that our applications for Fall 2019 are now LIVE

As a HC UCLA staffer, your responsibilities will include:

– Promoting the nationwide brand by adhering to the national level standards and requirements

– Being an active member of Her Campus at UCLA by attending mandatory weekly staff meetings (Wednesdays 6-8 pm) and participating in on-campus events 

– Occasionally covering events on and off-campus

– Posting one HC UCLA article once a week on one of your personal social media accounts

Meet our Campus Correspondents, Renée and Mikee!

Editor-in-Chief Renée Lee is a 4th-year English major, Film, Television, Digital Media Studies minor. This is her 1st year as a Co-Campus Correspondent and 3rd year with Her Campus at UCLA. Renée began as a Feature Writer her sophomore year and became the Senior Editor her junior year. With her passion for both pop culture and journalism, she will be overseeing the editorial team in her role as Editor-in-Chief. During her spare time, you can find Renée obsessing over the Marvel Cinematic Universe, running around campus, or tuning in to the latest scoop in Hollywood. She is spending her summer interning for Maverick Management at Live Nation Entertainment! 

President Mikee Lachica is a 4th-year Anthropology major. This will be Mikee’s 1st year as a Co-Campus Correspondent and 3rd year with Her Campus at UCLA. Mikee started off as a Graphic Designer in her sophomore year and was the first Design and Logistics Director of her chapter. She spearheaded the creative aesthetic of Her Campus UCLA, from the Instagram feed to Facebook event banners to Snapchat filters. She will be overseeing the social media, events, logistics and design teams. In her spare time, she enjoys watching a good rom-com movie, exploring Los Angeles through coffee shops, going to Disneyland or playing with her puppy, Snowie! She is spending her summer as a Program Manager at RippleMatch!

Renée is an alumna at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and served as the HCUCLA Editor in Chief and one of the Campus Correspondents for the 2019-2020 school year. She is passionate about storytelling and pushing for more Asian American representation in fashion and entertainment. 
Mikee is an alumna at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and served as the HCUCLA President and one of the Campus Correspondents for the 2019-2020 school year. She is a lover of all things pink, aesthetic, and good storytelling. In her spare time pre-pandemic, you would find her watching a good rom-com movie, going to Disneyland, exploring more of Los Angeles through coffee shops, brunch places, and events, or playing with her puppy, Snowie! During the pandemic, she enjoys graphic designing on her iPad (and watching even more rom-coms with Snowie). Currently, Mikee is bringing Disney+ moments to life through world-class campaigns at The Walt Disney Company and earning her Master's Degree in Communication Management at the University of Southern California (USC).
