Date nights are always something to look forward to. At times, you may wonder which places, activities or events are worth visiting and experiencing. A date doesn’t always necessarily have to be extravagantly planned and executed — even the smallest moments can create the best and unique memories. Orlando is full of endless options of things to do, depending on what you and your partner enjoy. Here are a few popular suggestions that may spark your interest.

are They sporty? Try Topgolf

Topgolf along International Drive is a sports venue that includes a golf driving range game along with a bar and restaurant. Topgolf offers the opportunity for all levers of players — whether an experienced professional or beginner — to endure in hitting and swinging a golf ball into the different colored area zones to earn points. The cost of admission is dependent upon the amount of time played. Usually, the average time spent is about an hour-long, and time can always be extended upon request. Topgolf is a welcoming environment for those who are looking to try something new and get some exercise at the same time.

Are They Classy? Try Winter Park

Winter Park is a well-known, beautifully developed suburb of Orlando where you can come across many fine-dining restaurants situated among popular brand retail stores and local shops/boutiques. Winter Park Village has everything, including a movie theater and a Cheesecake Factory. Downtown Winter Park features upscale dining, cafes, parlors and shops on Park Avenue. The restaurants located in Downtown Winter Park offer a wide selection of diverse cuisines. In addition, Downtown Winter Park has cultural sights found within the city’s museums. It’s worth taking a peek and discovering the hidden gems and rich history of Winter Park.

Are They Chill? try Cocoa Beach

Cocoa Beach is the closest beach to Orlando, about one hour east on the Atlantic coast. Cocoa Beach is a comfortable place to soak up the sun, cool off in the water, and walk along the soft sand. The Cocoa Beach Pier is an attractive spot for people-watching, as many locals and visitors come and stop by to enjoy the view it has to offer. Nearby waterfront restaurants, hotels and shops within walking distance make Cocoa Beach an ideal destination for a day trip or even a weekend getaway. The environment surrounding Cocoa Beach gives off serene and carefree vibes, so if you are looking for a piece of mind, it is a perfect spot to live in the moment.

Are They BubbLy? Try Ice & Bites Cafe

Grabbing boba tea is something so simple yet fun. In Orlando, you can encounter many local boba tea shops and cafes across all parts, from International Drive to Downtown to UCF. Boba tea shops are becoming a growing place of recent interest due to the diversity within the local population consisting of Asian backgrounds and catering to their culture and cuisine. Ice & Bites Cafe is within five minutes from UCF. Not only do they serve boba tea drinks, but they also serve a select array of food — small bites like rolls and salad plus sweet treats like ice cream. Ice & Bites Cafe is my favorite spot for boba tea because they offer a rich cocoa chocolate-flavored milk tea. I am a huge chocoholic by nature, and every time I am out and am looking for something sweet to satisfy my cravings, this is my go-to!

Are They Into Nature? Try Wekiwa Springs

Wekiwa Springs is one of the many state parks in Florida and one of the best in Orlando. The springs are a lively place to take part in a recreational experience. Wekiwa Springs’ crystal clear water is natural and refreshing to swim in on a warm day out in the sun. The water isn’t freezing, but it’s cool year-round. Other activities such as hiking trails, kayaking and camping are also available to the public. The springs are open from early morning until sunset throughout the week and on weekends. The most convenient time to arrive at Wekiwa Springs is when it opens because there are a limited allotted amount of parking spots and admission of guests who come in, and it’s on a first-come, first-serve basis. Planned with consideration, Wekiwa Springs provides a pleasurable leisure pastime for you and your partner alike.

The ideas and opportunities presented for date nights are endless possibilities. There’s no one-size-fits-all for each relationship. Everyone has their interests and passions that help them decide what activity they want to do or what place they want to go to. The ideas above are suggestions for those who are unfamiliar with what Orlando has in store and those who are indecisive and would like general recommendations. There is something out there for everyone. It all comes down to is discovering, knowing and planning out what you and your partner will enjoy together.
