I don’t know about you, but I am most definitely a night person. As such, I find I am usually awake late at night and as I desperately try to fall asleep, questions or ideas typically pop in my head. Most of the time I’m too lazy to actually grab my phone to look them up, but there are some occasions when I will. Here are just some of my many Google searches (typically between 2-4 AM).
1. “beauty trend when everyone made their lips swollen and they warned people not to do it”
I couldn’t remember what they used in order to do it (it was a shot glass, in case you were wondering, and it was the “Kylie Jenner Challenge”).
2. “uc davis pepper spray meme”
My boyfriend had never seen this meme before, so naturally I needed to send him every remotely funny image I could find.
3. “if yorkies are hypoallergenic why can’t i breathe”
I had just spent an entire day with an adorable yorkie dog, Kay, but could not fall asleep because I couldn’t breathe. I needed to know who lied to me.
4. “shrug emoji copy and paste”
I wanted to come across as cool and casual but I was not about to figure out how to type it myself.
5. “how much sushi can i eat before it’s no longer healthy”
Asking the important questions.
6. “obama smiling”
I actually look up these images more often than I’d like to admit. Also “obama and michelle love”, because they are literally goals.
7. “who invented sudoku and why”
I played a lot of Sudoku over winter break, and searched this around 4 AM when I was stuck on a particularly difficult puzzle and had to know who was responsible.
8. “what’s a more appropriate word for clusterfuck”
For when I’m talking to someone more wholesome than myself.
9. “spongebob turning into a snail”
I think this scene is so funny and regularly watch the video with Spongebob, Gary, and Squidward all singing as snails.
