Vancouver’s First Snow of the Year

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UBC chapter.

In Vancouver we’ve come to expect rainy day after rainy day in the winter, so when we wake up in a winter wonderland like we did this week, it’s always something special.

However, as soon as you head out the door, you realize your journey to school is going to look a little different today..

And that the change in weather is having an effect on your hairstyle.

You try and enjoy the magic of all these flakes.

But it’s all a little too much.

The transit system suddenly stops functioning.

While the students from colder climates don’t see what the big deal is.

And the rest of us are just trying to make it through.

All you can really do is appreciate the snow while it’s here!
