Life
- Favourite travel destination: I haven’t traveled a lot (yet)! Portland, Oregon was a lovely place when I visited!
- Favourite food: This is too difficult of a question… I’ll say chocolate.
- Favourite tunes: My taste in music is pretty broad! I love me a little Blake Shelton or Nicki Minaj, depending on the occasion.
- Favourite UBC study spot: The BrodyWorks Lounge in Irving K. Barber!
- When I’m not hitting the books, I can most likely be found: Watching squirrels, baking vegan cookies, or exercising at the gym!
- UBC involvement: Currently, I am co-editor-in-chief of Her Campus UBC, a Career Peer Coach, a Work Learn student in the Centre for Student Involvement & Careers, and a member of the Library Student Advisory Committee. I also manage UBC #applyforeverything after its founder’s graduation! In the past, I have been a Student Coordinator working on Imagine UBC, I have been a part of UBC Residence Life, the UBC Residence Hall Association, the UBC National Residence Hall Honorary.
- Dream job: This is something I have not determined yet! If I could make a living taking photographs of food, I would probably be incredibly happy.
- Favourite quote: “It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate – our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.” – Marianne Williamson
- Hidden talent: I can walk on my hands!
- Advice to your first-year self: Keep your very-flexible part-time job, because you do well with more structure in your non-academic time, and do what you did – talk to people, move to the other floor in your house to be with friends, play football, and eat at new restaurants! You are doing great.
