Celebrity Sightings in Vancouver

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UBC chapter.

Whether it’s recognizable faces from small screen TV shows or protagonists of blockbuster films, Hollywood celebrities grace Vancouver with their presence quite regularly (waddup Aaron Paul). It is not all that surprising when you spot a famous person rushing through the gates of YVR or grabbing a bite at your favourite sushi restaurant. Nicknamed “Hollywood North”, Vancouver has the largest film industry in Canada and is North America’s second largest producer of TV shows.

Here’s a list of some potential celebrity sightings you might come across right here in Vancity. If you see them, be cool! Also, remember to control your sweat-inducing excitement and tell them how much you love their work. Glam it up and get your cameras ready!

1. Misha Collins (Supernatural)

Misha Collins plays the Angel Castiel on CW’s horror-fantasy show Supernatural.

The crew was seen filming at Burnaby’s Fraser Shore Park, where they’ve built their own cabin in the woods, as well as at Ladner’s Harbour Park earlier this week.

Expect to see the crew out and about BC until Apr 17/15. Let us know if you happen to catch a glimpse of Colton Haynes, Katie Cassidy and Paul Blackthorne too!
