On Thursday November 17th at 7:30 PM, an award-winning novelist, musician, and slam champ Brendan McLeod will be performing an emotional comedy about living with mental illness at the Chan Centre.Having obsessive-compulsive disorder since his teenage years, Brendan told Her Campus UBC that he wishes to raise people’s awareness and lower people’s stigma on OCD through an intriguing and creative production. This production, Brain, has won the Vancouver Pick of the Fringe in 2015 and has just been selected in Chan Centre’s Beyond Words series this year. In Brain, Brendan opens up about his mind, his illness, and his relationships.

You can now watch the trailer here:

The production will be at the Telus Studio Theatre (Inside Chan Centre) on Nov. 17 at 7:30pm.
