Endometriosis is when when tissue starts growing outside of your uterus. This growth can cause extreme pain and inflammation in women. 

Endo Fact:  Endometriosis affects an estimated 1 in 10 women during their reproductive years

The most common symptoms of endometriosis are:

  • Extreme pain during periods
  • Pain in between periods
  • Irregular periods
  • Pain during sex

Other symptoms include:

  • Pain when using the bathroom (both urination and bowel movements)
  • Constipation
  • Nausea 
  • Cramping
  • Infertility 
  • Feeling faint 
  • Exhaustion 

What causes Endometriosis? The cause is unknown, but there are many theories to its origin. 

So, how can you treat it?
