Students often neglect themselves during the process of studying for examinations. It is important to take care of yourself during this time especially, because not doing so can pose negative consequences on your health and well-being. Pamper evenings are awesome, as they provide an opportunity for you to treat and rejuvenate yourself before the next day of studying. It also gives you time to unwind, de-stress, and simply enjoy your own company. This article will list and describe steps to take in order to have the perfect college pamper routine. First things first! Please finish all your homework before we begin. If you wish to know more about how to have a stress-free examination period, please check out my article titled “Tips on Making Exam Season Stress-Free”. Time to treat yo self!

Step #1: Take a Shower

There is nothing more relaxing than taking a nice shower after a long day of studying. If you wish to create a lovely atmosphere, play your favourite songs and light a few candles. Always remember to remove all your make-up with a make-up remover if you are wearing any. Apply shampoo and massage it into your hair. To continue, condition the ends of your hair.

Step #2: Cleanse

While you are in the shower, make sure to cleanse your face. This is an important step, as using a cleanser will remove make-up residue, dirt, and oil from your face.

Step #3: Skin-Care Routine

After showering, start your skin-care routine. Begin by toning and applying serum. Finish off by moisturizing your face and body. Get into your comfy PJs and end this step by drying and brushing your hair.

Step #4:  Manicure and Pedicure

While listening to music or watching videos, paint your nails. This is a lot of fun because there are so many colors to choose from. Get creative! Paint them with your favourite colour and you are bound to feel good. Self-care is key!

Step #5: Drink a Cup of Water or Brew Your Favourite Tea

I love tea. It calms me immensely after a hardworking day. Take time to enjoy the taste of your healthy beverage.

Step #6: Watch a Movie or Listen to Music

Watch your favourite movie or one you have never seen before. Take this time to relieve your stress by focusing your energy on what you are excited for and passionate about. I also recommend creating a tumblr to look at inspirational pictures! Listen to your favourite jams too!

Step #7: Plan Tomorrow’s Outfit

Embrace tomorrow and plan out your outfit for the next day of school. Gather your clothes and accessories and place them nearby.

Step #8: Read a Book

After putting away all your electronics, read a book. Doing so will relax your mind. The best part is you will allow yourself to be transported into another world right before sleeping.

Step #9: Sleep

Sleep is crucial in order to function well during the day. Make sure to sleep at least 8 to 10 hours before tackling your examinations.

I hope you have a wonderful pamper evening collegiates! Good luck and stay healthy!
