Anytime I go out for a dinner date during the weekend, or meet with a potential employer for an interview, I like to hit the ground running with a fresh manicure and new nail colour. I think that in terms of beauty, playing with nail colours is all about self-experssion, as well as a great way of enhancing one’s own qualities.
Laverne Cox, one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, and one of Time Magazine’s “2015 Most Influential People”, partnered with Orly Nail Lacquers for an exciting new opportunity to launch her own nail polish collection. Â
Laverne Cox has developed a nail polish collection in collaboration with Orly Nail Lacquers for a six shade, limited edition collection called “Celebrate Yourself”. The Orange is the New Black star showcased the bold and metallic shades during the 2017 Emmy Awards. She also donated the proceeds to the victims of both Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
The shades include Shine, Party in the Hills, Halo, Mirrorball, Androgynie, and Million Dollar Views. My personal favourites are Shade, because of its soft baby blue undertone and metallic finish.
