Winter is in full swing and it’s time to get cozy! If you’ve already dropped the “beauty is pain motto to brace for the cold weather, then we’re right behind you with ten tips that’ll prep your wardrobe, and keep you warm this winter!

1. Cute winter boots

We all know the importance of having a nice, warm pair of winter boots, especially in Canada’s winter season, but they don’t have to be a drag! Investing in a good pair of winter boots is with your cash, because we all know comfort is the cutest look when walking through huge piles of snow!

2. A poncho

Ponchos are making a style comeback, so now is your time to find some super cute ones that will keep you warm and in-style this winter. Bonus: If you wear a poncho to a colder classroom, it can also double as a blanket to keep you warm (or nap)!

3. A pompom hat

If you’ve been spending your holiday enjoying some awesome outdoor winter activities, trying to stay warm throughout the day can be a struggle! It’s obvious that wearing a hat will instantly keep you warmer, but if you want to avoid having frizzy hat hair and keep a stylish look going, a pompom hat is your go-to!

4. Cute PJs

Warm and cozy PJs are always a must for the winter time! Try a cute holiday pattern, or go all out in a onesie!

5. Earmuffs

If hats aren’t your style, then try opting for a fluffy pair of earmuffs! Not only will they keep your ears nice and warm, but they’re also a very chic winter look!

6. Big sweaters

Sweater weather is really upon us now! Wearing oversized sweaters is perfect for this time of year! Not only are they great for a lazy day when you’re curled up on the couch, but they’ll also keep you warm if you decide to brave the cold!

7. Fuzzy socks

Owning a pair of fuzzy socks will definitely boost your warmth and coziness by a ton! They’re great to stick into winter boots, and even better to top off with some snug PJs, a nice book, and some couch lounging!

8. A bubble coat

Bubble coats are cute and warm and perfect for this time of year when you want to look your best in the snow!

9. Cute mittens

Having a cute pair of mittens make any outdoor activity much warmer (and bearable). Mittens themselves are quite stylish and cute looking, so you can’t really go wrong with any mix of colour or pattern you choose!

10. Heated hand warmers

Heated hand warmers are great because you can stick them inside your gloves before you go outside, and they will keep your hands nice and toasty! These hidden little packets work like magic, and are a necessity for staying cozy in the cold!

And if all else fails, the ultimate tip for staying cozy is really just to stay in and watch Netflix with a warm cup of hot chocolate!
