It’s that time of year—the end of the semester is close, but there are still millions of things to worry about. As the season shifts towards warmer and brighter days, the goal is to feel lighter, clearer, and more in control of life. The transition into spring and summer is a time for growth and clarity.

Cleaning your physical space:

Whether it be cleaning out your closet or trading in your huge comforter for a smaller blanket, there are so many ways to declutter your physical environment!

some ideas …

  • opening the window for some fresh air
  • light a candle and listen to some music
  • clean out your camera roll
  • unfollow people that no longer make you happy

cleaning your mental space

If you’re anything like me and suffer from seasonal depression, you know that these warmer seasons directly correlate to a warmer and happier mind. I like to reflect on the winter months and make a list of priorities and goals for the spring and summer months!

even more ideas…

  • breaking down major stressors into smaller, more manageable pieces (like finals!!)
  • forgiving yourself for what you didn’t do in the winter months
  • embracing being in progress, not perfect
  • what do I want to leave in winter and attract in spring?

Though circumstances don’t change overnight, it is important to reflect on the past and set goals for the brighter future. Everything doesn’t need to change, but give yourself room to grow in these next months. A clean space and calm mind leads to empowered, focused energy for the rest of the semester.
