Hello everybody!

I hope you are all staying warm and wrapping up the end of the semester! We are almost to the end, and then we get to enjoy the holidays!

I’m here to give some tips for keeping healthy and happy while getting through finals!

  1. Take Breaks

Your brain works so hard! Make sure to give it a break now and then. For optimal brain function, it’s recommended to work straight for 30 minutes and then take a 5-minute break. If you do that, you will optimize your study time! You should also periodically get up and take a lap around the library, your dorm hall, or wherever else you may be.

  1. Eat well

During these stressful times, it can be easy to skip a meal because you do not have enough time. However, your body needs fuel to run. Even throwing some snacks in your backpack for the library is good! You wouldn’t drive your car on empty, so why would you do that to your body?

  1. Hang out with your friends

Often, the last thing you have time for is your friends during finals. Still, you need to make sure you let yourself live and not get too stressed out. Even a quick hello can help you de-stress!

And last but not least…

  1. Believe in yourself

Wolverines, you are so amazing. Remember that you are the leaders. Go into all exams with that mindset, and you will go far.

I hope these tips help you out at least a little bit during this final stretch. Good luck on finals, and happy holidays!

Go Blue!
