October is a whirlwind of a month for many Collegiettes. From the stress of midterms to the excitement of Halloween, a lot is crammed into thirty one days.

It’s finally October 1st.  Initially you are excited because you have two weeks to study for midterms which means you can squeeze in a nap or two during the day…let’s face it you deserve it because of all the hard work that is coming your way.

And then suddenly it is the night before the exam and you are LITERALLY panicking.

Once midterms are over, you have to worry about what your group costume is going to be for Halloween with your roommates…certainly not the best time to head home!

…then about ten days before October ends your TAs announce that they are giving back your midterms in your discussion sections…

But it turns out you passed your midterms with flying colors which meant there was no need to close your eyes when going through the blue book.

Somewhere between the middle and end of October, there may be a Nor’easter or two in the mix, encroaching on your plans.

…and who can forget about the notorious UMass Plague making its way through all the residence halls?…

Now it is the end of October and we are all looking forward to what November will bring.

Congrats Collegiettes on getting through October!
