The worst feeling I have ever experienced is unceasingly missing someone very dear to me. His temporary absence caused what seemed like an eternity of pain. Thankfully, he has returned and our relationship is stronger than I ever thought possible.

Waiting

My reality was a dream

An entire world not real

Life collapsing as it seemed

Misery and hopelessness to feel

Waiting to fall asleep

There I get to see you

Falling into darkness steep

Desperation grew

Two hundred and eighty three nights

Nothing to do but wait

Wish I was gone I might

Not realizing our fate

Days and nights would pass

Hours and hours I’d cry

Mother’s lunacy causing clash

Why must this happen to I

But it happened for a reason

Obstructed at the time

God’s plan far from completion

He has now pulled back the blinds

Not jaded from the bars behind

You are evermore my rock

Love is the way and you are the sign

Lasting joy there is no block
