Nothing but Podcasts

Long car ride and no new music to listen to? I know we have all been there. With the amount of free time we’ve all had on our hands due to the pandemic, there's no better time than now to dive headfirst into a new podcast. Podcasts vary in length and can cover such a wide range of topics. From relationship advice, to gossip about pop culture, to informative discussions that will open your mind to new ways of thinking — I’ve got you covered. I am pretty new to the world of podcasts, so I must admit I’m no guru. However, I did the research and put in the work, so you don’t have to. With the help and input from my friends, here are the podcasts you should be listening to right now.

  1. 1. Call Her Daddy

    A classic hit among college girls, "Call Her Daddy" opens up the floor for conversations about relationships, friendship, sex, and pretty much everything in between. Alex Cooper talks about the details of her own life to make yours feel a little more normal. Her honesty and advice will have you excited every Wednesday for a new episode.

I would recommend this podcast to anyone who needs a little help in the world of adulting.

    If you love true crime and supernatural stories this is the podcast for you. "Morbid" delivers a new story that will keep you at the edge of your seat. This niche podcast is full of stories and banter about all things spooky and scary.

    Influencer Emma Chamberlain uses her podcast to talk to young adults about literally anything. (I mean, it’s right in the name.) These hour long episodes are like talking on the phone with a friend. They are comforting and easy to listen to. This is a good listen for someone who is just starting to dip their toes into the world of podcasts.

    As a woman studying neuroscience, of course I have to plug "Hidden Brain." This podcast explains the inner workings of the human mind with a little bit of storytelling. Uncovering hidden patterns in the brain is right up my alley, and it might be right up yours!

    This his and her podcast is all about wellness, lifestyle, business, and beauty. The motivating duo meets with entrepreneurs, authors, and athletes to get the scoop on how to be successful. They share their tips and tricks for living the lifestyle we all dream of in our twenties.

  8. 8. Girls Gotta Eat

    Girl bosses Ashley and Rayna will let you in on all their secrets. These refreshing conversations between two best friends will leave you cracking up. They discuss dating and relationship advice from the perspective of two millennials who have been through it all. With over three years of episodes, there are plenty to choose from. This podcast is truly binge worthy. 

No matter the occasion, throwing a podcast on is a good way to pass the time when doing something that doesn’t require a ton of brain power. So, throw yourself into these enlightening conversations and absorb all the advice they have for you!
