The Emotional Rollercoaster That is the Last Month of School As Told by Kim Kardashian

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Mass Amherst chapter.

At this point in the semester as a senior, we all have been sent numerous emails regarding events leading up to graduation. In combination with finals looming over our heads and the push for finding a job, our minds are just about to burst. How can you even remain sane throughout this entire time? No one can sum up the plethora of feelings that hit you in the last month of school better than Kim Kardashian!

Emotional Stage #1: Denial

It’s been brought up in all of your classes: the end of the semester is near. You can only be in denial for so long I guess…

Emotional Stage #2: Rebellious

You have come up with literally and I mean literally every possibility for you to stay on campus as long as you can. Handcuffing yourself to a desk at the library so you don’t have to leave: challenge accepted!

Emotional Stage #3: Cluelessness

Alongside this, you probably do not want to leave because you have no idea what you are going to do after college. Going home seems like the only solution thus far.

Emotional Stage #4: Sadness

You could picture yourself living at home for an eternity, but camping out in the woods by campus seems like a viable solution even without a job. The thought of leaving your floormates or roommates at this point in time just makes your heart hurt.

Emotional Stage #5: Annoyed

Another reason why you don’t want to leave: packing your things up. Your parents reminding you constantly that it is going to take you several hours just to get all of your stuff out of your room because you have way too many belongings is beginning to drive you up the wall. All the more reason to stay put!

Emotional Stage #6: aldfkjasdljklns

At this point in the semester, this basically describes all your feels about leaving school: Kim Kardashian when she lost her diamond earring in the ocean.

Although this seems like a long and tough road ahead of us for the next month, we will definitely get through it! Once it’s all said and done, you will realize that you can take on the road ahead of you. Best of luck to you all, Collegiettes!
