It’s almost here! The end of the semester is quickly approaching which means summer will soon be upon us. No more homework, classes or tests! However, right now is probably a good time to start thinking about or searching for a summer job (or a real job, if you’re graduating). You’re going to need some money if you want to have the best summer of your life, right? We need some dough to splurge on Drake concert tickets, road trips across the country and Sunday brunches with your besties. Here are the best summer jobs if you’re looking to fatten your wallet, gain some important work experience or just have fun this summer.

1. Camp counselor

Playing games, making arts and crafts and stuffing your face with s’mores? How are you getting paid to do this?

2. Internship that goes with your major

The paid internships are great, but any internship that will help you gain experience and get your foot in the door for the career you want is awesome.

3. Nanny

Watch out! If you’re not great with kids, this may not be the best job for you! However, this job can be pretty fun and grateful parents may also hook you up with a reference or another job.

4. Waitressing

Working in a restaurant can be a little stressful, but waiting on a table full of hot guys or coming home with your pockets overflowing with tips is worth it!

5. Anything that allows you to work on the beach

Lifeguard, swim instructor, beach patrol, bartender..you name it! Being able to breathe in the salty air and see the ocean waves doesn’t seem like work at all!

6. Resort gig

You’ll meet a lot of interesting people (maybe even a celebrity) and will be able to enjoy the perks of the resort while on break. A lot of resorts offer room and board if you’d like to work away from home. Don’t forget about leftover food from weddings!
