By 2023, I’m sure most of us consider ourselves to be Amazon connoisseurs. It’s convenient, it delivers to our college campus, and with a Prime membership you get free two-day shipping. What more can you ask for? Taking a look back at my beauty and wellness purchases of 2022, here are the several products I consider to be my holy grails.

1. The BrowGal Skinny Eyebrow Pencil ($23)

After trying almost every popular eyebrow pencil on the market, the BrowGal pencil has earned a permanent spot in my makeup bag. It comes in six natural colors and is sweat and water-resistant. This stuff seriously does not budge, so “take her swimming on the first date” all you want!

2. ARC On-The-Go Teeth Whitening Pen ($20)

This is definitely the best teeth-whitening product I’ve ever tried. It contains dentist-approved ingredients and doesn’t need to be taken off after applying. This pen has become a staple in my routine and genuinely brightens the appearance of teeth instantly. I especially like the ARC whitening pen compared to other brands because it never hurts my teeth and is enamel-safe.

3. Tangle Teezer Hairbrush for Wet & Dry Hair ($12.99)

Let’s talk hair health. This minimalist pink Tangle Teezer brush is a fan favorite and Amazon’s Choice. Other brushes often tug, pull, and rip at hair which leads to breakage, split ends, and hair loss. The Tangle Teezer works great for keeping hair healthy and strong and has lasted me several years. It can be used on both wet and dry hair and doesn’t trap excess hair like other brushes.

4. Kristin Ess Hair Fragrance Free Dry Shampoo Powder Spray for Oily Hair ($20)

We’ve all had those moments when we realize we’re overdue for a hair wash. This dry shampoo by Kristin Ess is a powder that soaks up any excess oil in your hair. I like to put it on before bed on day-old hair, to wake up with all of the volume and none of the oil.

5. The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 ($21.99)

If you’re a skincare junkie like me, you may have heard of Hyaluronic Acid. It works for reducing wrinkles, fine lines, and scarring, and helps keep your skin hydrated. It has been a staple in my skincare routine for years, and the one from The Ordinary is one of the most popular and affordable options on the market.

6. Silk Pillowcase ($11.99)

After trying out this pillowcase, I went back on Amazon and bought two more. Silk pillowcases are known for being beneficial for our skin and hair; if you ever wake up with frizzy hair you need to try this! The Mulberry pillowcase also has a cooling effect that helps me fall asleep faster, and is much cheaper than other silk pillowcases on the market.

7. Ice Roller for Face ($14.99)

Have you ever woken up with a puffy, inflamed face? Maybe you ate something salty for dinner, or maybe you had one-too-many Vodka Crans the night before. If that sounds like you, give ice rolling a try. This ice roller from Fronnor is only $15 and is great for promoting lymphatic drainage. Lymphatic drainage helps with depuffing, reducing redness, reducing muscle tension, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, and tightening the appearance of your skin.

8. Dr. Teal’s Sleep Spray ($9)

Dr. Teal’s Sleep Spray is another product you didn’t know you needed. Getting enough sleep is beneficial for your physical, mental, and emotional health. I like to spray it on my pillow before bed to help improve my sleeping habits. The Chamomile & Lavender scent promotes relaxation and fosters a deeper slumber. The spray contains Melatonin but has none of the drowsy after-effects that can come with taking oral medication.

9. Tongue Scraper ($7)

Oral health is such an important and often neglected aspect of wellness. Tongue scraping may sound strange, and potentially scary, but it has numerous benefits. This $7 gadget is truly life-changing. It removes bacteria from the tongue, which prevents bad breath and lowers the risk of gum disease and cavities. It can also improve your sense of taste and lead to better digestion. Boka’s tongue scraper is easy to clean and super cute.

Those were my nine Amazon beauty and wellness favorites from 2022. Happy shopping!
