10 Struggles of Getting Back into Shape

The weather is getting warmer and you realize you soon won’t be able to hide in oversized sweaters any longer. Victoria’s Secret starts sending you emails about their new spring break bikini collection and then it hits you: it’s been months since you last stepped foot in the gym. Now that it’s time to emerge out of workout hibernation, here are some of the struggles we all face when we’re trying to bounce back to our summer bodies:

 

1.    Spending your entire paycheck on new workout clothes as motivation

 

2.    When your friends try to make you workout with them at 6 A.M.

 

3.    The internal conflict of wanting to go workout and wanting to order an entire pizza for yourself

 

4.    Sacrificing your afternoon nap to go for a run

 

5.    Your stamina is nonexistent therefore cardio is your worst enemy

 

6.    When your rest day turns into a rest week

 

7.    You forgot your headphones so you can’t workout

 

8.    When you plan on rewarding yourself with one cookie on your cheat day but end up eating half the box

 

9.    I can eat this cheeseburger because I’ll go to the gym in the morning, right?

 

10.    You forgot that it doesn’t just take 10 squats to get that Kardashian-worthy booty

 

The struggle is real, but the results are so worth it.
