This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Chicago chapter and does not reflect the views of Her Campus.

Year: 3rd year
Hometown: New York, NY
Major: Economics and Sociology

Three words to describe yourself: Thoughtful, Social, Driven

What are you involved in on campus?: CONNECT RSO, Sigma Chi

Why Sigma Chi?: I was first attracted to Sigma Chi’s small membership and solidarity, as well as each and every member’s commitment to the values of Friendship, Justice, and Learning

Favorite college memory so far: Tailgating the Homecoming Football game at my old apartment on 56th and Maryland

In 10 years, you will be…: 30-years-old with the heart of a teenager

Best outfit: A crisp white shirt, dress khakis, a black blazer with silver buttons, and smoking slippers

What do you miss most about home?: I miss everything about New York but if I had to pick one thing, it would be the seafood.

Something on your college bucket list?: To find the darn entrance to those underground steam tunnels!

U Chicago

Annie is a Political Science major at the University of Chicago who not only writes for Her Campus, but is also one of Her Campus UChicago's Campus Correspondents. She also acts as Editor-In-Chief of Diskord, an online op-ed publication based on campus, and as an Arts and Culture Co-Editor for the university's new Undergraduate Political Review. When she's not busy researching, writing, and editing articles, Annie can be found pounding out jazz choreography in a dance room, furiously cheering on the Vancouver Canucks, or around town on the lookout for new places, people, and things. This year, Annie is back in DC interning with Voice of America once again!
