ONLINE SHOPPING THIS CYBER MONDAY: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE 2021 DEALS

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tulane chapter.

It’s that time of year! 2021 is finally coming to a close and Thanksgiving is just around the corner. For many people, myself included, this means giving thanks, seeing friends and family, and spending what feels like hours at retail stores. While Black Friday is undeniably one of the best days to get great bargains at stores and start holiday shopping, going to stores isn’t always the most enjoyable or accessible option. Love the deals but don’t want to make the trip? Cyber Monday is the perfect alternative, and these are the brands to look out for when browsing your favorite sites.

  1. Motel Rocks

This trendy brand, which has its own website but can also be found at larger retail distributors, has been known to have decent sitewide and sale section deals during the Black Friday-Cyber Monday period, and members of their subscription list get exclusive information and codes ahead of time.

  1. Dollskill

Whether you’re shopping for everyday clothes or staple festival outfits, Dollskill is a solid bet for Cyber Monday lovers looking to save on edgier additions to their closets. The online boutique even has a great variety of brands and styles on sale regularly, so it’s definitely worth checking out when that Monday rolls around.

  1. Superdown

Superdown is an up-and-coming brand that can also be found on major distributor sites such as Revolve, which is my go-to for formal events and all things swimwear. The clothes are fairly affordable and the website’s Cyber Monday deals are hard to beat, with previous years offering up to 30% off sitewide.

  1. Zara

If you are looking for one-stop-shop, Zara is absolutely the way to go. In 2020 the Cyber Monday deals afforded customers 40% off of multiple styles and Black Friday in-store was even more promising. From jeans to bags you are almost guaranteed to find something you like at prices that won’t break the bank.

  1. Princess Polly

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, chances are you’ve heard of or shopped at Princess Polly. The Australian brand is online-only, so as far as Black Friday and Cyber Monday go, the sales are ideal for those of us who prefer to search the web. This brand also has exclusive content and codes for members of their email subscription list, so don’t forget to sign up!

  1. Urban Outfitters/Anthropologie/Free People

Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, and Free People, all of which are run by the same parent company, are all dependable when it comes to holiday sales. While the deals vary from site to site, it’s a safe bet that you’ll find some discounted cozy clothes and gifts as Thanksgiving weekend and the festive season approaches.

Whether you choose to shop at these picks online or the stores of your choice in person, happy shopping and safe travels to all this Thanksgiving!
