Do you ever see a guy in your class or at a party that you want to talk to, but are just too nervous to confront him? Here are some tips that can help you make your first move!

1.   Smile

Nothing is more welcoming and charismatic than your most beautiful smile. It’s the first thing he’ll notice about you and he’ll want to see more of it.

2.    Ask him questions

You shouldn’t just talk about yourself, and he shouldn’t be talking about himself the whole time either. But by asking questions it allows time for him to answer things that you want to know about him, and he should (if he’s cool) ask you a question in return. If you only get a couple of words in the conversation, drop him.

3.    Pretend he already likes you

Guys love a girl who is confident. If you normally get nervous around guys or a guy you like, pretend he already likes you. It will give you major confidence and will allow you to be more open around him. It will also give you time to relax and focus on the actual conversation instead of obsessing over his presence. It may even make the guy less nervous about talking to you, and will show him that you are genuinely happy to be around him.

4.    Just be Yourself

If there is anything I guy finds unattractive about a girl is that they change their opinions or beliefs to match those of the guy. Guys value your opinion, and it’s okay if you don’t agree on some things. If you don’t like watching football just say so, don’t start talking about how much you love the Steelers. The guy you’re interested in will eventually find out that you were lying the whole time, and it will just end your relationship or friendship on an awkward note. Be yourself, and if it’s meant to be it’s meant to be.
