Trader Joe’s Must-Haves

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Texas chapter.

One of my favorite things to do is spend endless hours up and down the isles of Trader Joe’s. With this experience, I have come to gain insight into the must-have products that are essential to every grocery run. Here are some of my favorite Trader Joe’s purchases!

Green Tea Mints

If you are a fan of green tea, these mints are a must! Not to mention, they are shaped like a leaf and come in the most adorable metal case. Make sure to grab them at checkout!

Soft Strawberry Licorice Twists

Wow, these are my favorite candies to pick up at Trader Joe’s. It is a bag of delicious, bite-sized pieces of strawberry heaven! They are so soft and chewy, too. So good, you must try!

Soft and Juicy Mango

I don’t know about you, but I love dried fruits, and the mango slices do not disappoint! They have the perfect amount of sweetness and are a great snack to carry around with you throughout the day.

Crispy Peanut Butter filled Milk Chocolate Peanuts

This is one of the newest releases at Trader Joe’s, and I am obsessed! If you enjoy Reese’s Cups, this is the one for you. It has the ideal ratio of peanut butter and chocolate, plus it has rice crisps inside. All of that included, and it is shaped like a peanut!

Chili and Lime Rolled Tortilla Chips

I will never forget to grab a bag of these chips. They resemble Takis, but I found that they are more flavorful and have the perfect tanginess. I am sensitive to spice, and I can confirm these are definitely not that intense. So yummy!

Gnocchi Gorgonzola

Where do I even start with these! I have been purchasing this bag of frozen pasta for years. If you need a quick meal, this is convenient and takes under 10 minutes to make. It is like an adult version of macaroni and cheese. You can add vegetables as a side or chicken on top!

Chipotle Vegetable Quesadillas

This is a box of two quesadillas filled with black beans, corn, onions, cheese, and a savory sauce. They are so flavorful and great to dip in salsa or guacamole! Get these NOW!

Some of my hobbies include running, reading, yoga, and traveling! I am a Public Relations Major and with a minor in Entrepreneurship and certificate in Creative Writing. Outside of Her Campus I am involved in Texas American Marketing Association, Moody Communication Council, a member of the Kendra Scott WEL Institute Student Council, Texas Kappa Delta, and I am a Transfer Year Interest Group (TRIG) mentor. I love UT & all the amazing opportunities (like Her Campus) that it has to offer!
