TX/OU weekend has come and gone, and OU still sucks! We may not have won the game, but after beating them at the #TailgateWithPINK Twitter contest, we received more than bragging rights, we got an awesome PINK tailgating event!
Girls from all over campus braved the humidity and headed over to the tailgate, to check out the cute swag and fun activities. Our UT Victoria’s Secret PINK reps and their team set up an awesome tailgate, complete with a bounce-house, games to win freebies, and the PINK truck as a backdrop for impromptu photo seshes!
Kylie Blair, a radio-television-film sophomore, loved the event! “My favorite part was getting the coupons for PINK purchases and the really cute PINK koozie,” she said. “Taking pictures was a lot of fun too!”
Melinda Wright, a BFA theater studies sophomore, was one of the many girls who believed that waiting in line to play games to win free swag, was worth it. “I’ve been so excited for this event,” Wright said. “Dressing up the mannequins with PINK clothes was the best part.”
