Bored on one Friday afternoon, I ventured to Austin Museum of Art at Laguna Gloria and took a few pictures of some of the scenery. It isn’t be best place to study because there are no tables, but is a great place for the creative mind: perhaps some verses of poetry and/or sketches.
Literally right down the street from AMOA at Laguna Gloria is Maysfield Park, a park with trails and peacocks galore! They aren’t too shy around people but approach with caution, especially those of you who want to take pictures! Side note: go on the weekdays because wedding shoots are done here on the weekends.
