Long and white that’s what you are,

Sometimes close, sometimes way too far—

Helpful though so that’s good,

Otherwise I would have thrown you in the trash chute.

 

You must be bored hanging there all day,

Witnessing things you’re rather not say,

But you have a purpose so don’t worry

Although I do feel a bit sorry.

 

Next time I go I’ll be sure to 

thank you

Without you, my life would have been poo,
