Gobble gobble!
It’s the time of the year
For my crown to be dressed in pretty linen
And many cheers!
I can already imagine the mashed potatoes and gravy,
Salad dressed and ready to party,
Casseroles melted and baked to soft and crispy,
Even the sauce and drinks of cranberry!
There’s no forgetting the dinner rolls, cakes, and pie,
And of course the main course—usually turkey—fed well with stuffing,
Now feeds the family well along with their talking.
Would you guess what sits upon my head?
Answer:
Thanksgiving
