Riddle of the Week

Keesilla Chan Student Contributor, University of Texas - Austin
Megan Turner Student Contributor, University of Texas - Austin
This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Texas chapter and does not reflect the views of Her Campus.

I dislike monotony and so I take on the forms of many.

Curly, curved, long, short, thick, and skinny,

Yes, how boring it’d be if I had one choice only.

It’s been long enough for my many forms to be familiar.

Humans invent my dresses, fashions in season forever.

How else would the tomato evening be worn?

Or the white and yellow afternoon, cheesy in its long hours?

Or the weaves of basil green?

My accessories are as numerous though a short list here is enough:

Meatballs, peppers, olives, and veggies,

Just as the Italians imagined originally.

Answer: Pasta

Having graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with English Honors, Keesilla loves writing. From character development to rhetorical analyses to the pure vibrancy of words, every part must be savored like a warm pastry, which are one of the things Keesilla enjoys to bake when not reading, writing, or staring off into space.
