I do not covet the cases that my partner longs to crack.

I am but acquainted with the plug that my partner brokers information from.

But I see through all the inner workings of each coil, pin, and shear line that my partner sweet-talks—

I am their tracker, while my partner

Tastes metal tangs as you taste fancy wine.

 

That’s why we leave the loosening of tongues to you,

And that’s why you leave the loosening of cases to us.

 

Our loyalty is unmatched so long as you command us well,

So do not feel frustrated if you do not hear me.

Hi, I'm Madeline Muschalik! This is my fourth year in Her Campus; I wrote for Her Campus at Wake Forest University before transferring to UT in fall 2019. Last year I was the Her Campus Texas Co-President and Campus Correspondent & it was so rewarding. I am excited to explore Austin and learn more about our university through Texas Her Campus.
