A passion I’ve had for way too long is reading the weekly articles by Vogue detailing elaborate weddings of artists, celebrities, and socialites. I like to think it simply combines my love for aesthetics, design, fashion, decorating, and love stories, but maybe it’s just a weird fixation. Either way, it is so fascinating to see the behind-the-scenes of elaborate events with no boundaries, thanks to a limitless budget. I’ll never say no to an alluring glimpse into the life of high society!
(In no particular order) Here’s my list of weddings you can’t miss:
naomi Biden’s white house wedding
With the closest the United States can get to a royal wedding, Naomi exemplified elegance. Wearing a Ralph Lauren gown inspired by Grace Kelly while walking down the aisle on the South Lawn, the wedding looks ethereal. But my favorite is Naomi’s reception dress (and the photos of it) which are a perfect example of being a timeless bride.
Stylist Micaela Erlanger’s Wedding at Miami’s Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
As you would expect from Lupita Nyongo’s stylist, this wedding was just simply beautiful. I loved the mix of colors used throughout the wedding, adding to the tropical feel while being impressively cohesive. Also, Micaela’s multiple dresses all were spectacular and even the guests dressed to the nines!
Jasmine Tookes’s Enchanted Secret Garden Wedding in Ecuador
This wedding has perhaps the best venues I have ever seen! The use of flowers and the hauntingly stunning settings in Quinto, Ecuador were simply spectacular. This is truly a must see!!
Anisha patel’s wedding on the Turkish Riviera
The spectacle of their Indian wedding in the setting of Turkey could not have been a better fit. The extravagance of this wedding is amazing and the decorations for all of their wedding events are unbeatable. The cultural celebration is elevated by the unparalleled display.
Ivy getty’s san francisco wedding
This is a great example of a unique wedding done right. From her dress to the venue to the wedding party, this wedding felt entirely fresh and as if it should be preserved in a museum.
