With the holiday season right around the corner, I wanted to dedicate some space to talking about a few of my favorite silversmiths on Instagram. All six of these women craft the most radiant masterpieces, and their jewelry would make the perfect gift for any loved one or for yourself (because you deserve it!) May their work shine love and light into your life and happy scrolling <3

Luna Mesa

Husband-wife duo Anna and Corey run Luna Mesa from their studio in New Mexico. Anna creates the loveliest southwestern style pieces and is an absolute joy to work with! She offers a wide array of stones, exudes the kindest energy, and executes incredible custom work. Her jewelry even graced the big screen in both “Arizona” and “A.P. Bio” and any Luna Mesa creation would make for a beautiful heirloom piece.

Didi Rose Jewelry

Based in Georgia, Didi Rose Jewelry offers elegant pieces that easily turn into everyday staples. Benedicta, originally from Nigeria and the face behind Didi Rose, pours her heart into her craft. She creates remarkable statement earrings, stackable cuffs, darling rings, and dainty necklaces. Basically, her shop is any jewelry lover’s heaven. Benedicta is currently auctioning off a beautiful turquoise necklace to raise funds for Lagos Jewelry School, which was vandalized after soldier intervention in Nigeria’s EndSARS protests.

Stardust Mine

Basia, the creator of Stardust Mine Jewelry, crafts whimsical creations from her home studio in Bristol, England. Her designs often start out as detailed sketches, which Basia then transforms into silver and gemstone masterpieces. She additionally runs a successful YouTube channel tracking her journey as a silversmith while offering tutorials for artists aspiring to learn the craft!

Lunar Dimension

Lunar Dimension, owned by Lauren Valentine, features celestial jewelry with stars, crescent moons, and otherworldly gemstones. Lauren crafts incredible custom work, with each piece feeling like its own microcosm of shape and color. Her slots for customs fill up well in advance, so be sure to get on her list if you are interested in a Lunar Dimension creation!

The Number Thirteen

Inspired by the natural world, The Number Thirteen explores the macabre, taking bits of bone from nature and casting them into works of wearable art. Run by Elke and based in Belgium, The Number Thirteen offers one of a kind statement necklaces and rings released in collections. Elke designs astonishing etches and cutouts on her pieces, and her work will surely elevate any jewelry collection.

Belly Of The Snake

Valerie operates Belly of the Snake from her home country of Latvia, using wax techniques to sculpt intricate jewels imbued with lives of their own.  From woodland creatures to abstract lifeforms, Valerie brings each piece into existence with careful consideration, opting for high-quality gemstones and elaborate compositions. Every Belly Of The Snake piece is executed with love and craftsmanship, and will make for the perfect whimsical companion to accompany you on your next adventure!
