An Honest Review of Provocalips 16HR Kissproof Lip Colour
This month Her Campus Texas enjoyed getting an early Christmas present with the Winter Survival Kit. One of my favorite items in the kit was Provocalips 16HR Kissproof Lip Colour. Her Campus Texas received 7 different colors. With the help of some heavy duty make up remover (seriously this lips stain stays on FOREVER), I tried each one. Here is my honest review of each:
Wish Upon a Berry
My second favorite of the bunch. Basically nude with a hint of purple. Perfect for meeting your SO’s mom for lunch.
I’ll Call You
Bright pink. Perfect for your Barbie girl friend. Nicki Minaj would also love.
Play with Fire
The name says it all. This lip colour is red hot. Think TSwift classic red lip.
Make Your Move
Personal fav. This lip stain is perfect for the office or a casual date night. It’s a little darker than nude, but not too much color. Would wear for an everyday look.
Heart Breaker
Somewhere between red and brown. A little more than a nude, but not quite red. Very versatile.
Kiss Fatal
DARK purple. Pair with all black for a Lorde kinda look.
Just Teasing
At first glance, I thought ‘this is going to look terrible on me.’ I usually shy away from dark lipstick, and I was hesitant of the rich plum color of this lip stain. Just Teasing is perfect for anyone who wants to experiment with dark colors, but is scared of looking like Morticia Addams.
Overall Provocalips 16HR Kissproof Lip Colour has a nice variety of colors and holds up its promise of staying on for 16 hours.
