Five Fall Nail Trends You’ll Love

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Texas chapter.

Fall is a magical time of year: we’re able to say goodbye to the Texas heat as we don our warm sweaters and stand in unbelievably long lines to grab our favorite hot drink from Starbucks (PSL anyone?).  While you’re packing up your summer-wear and bringing back your go-to-fall fashions, don’t forget to update your manicure as well.  Here are some nail colors we’re loving this fall:

1.  Nude

Nude nails can be done year round, but there’s something so classic and clean about nude nails in the fall.  This convenient chart can help you find the best color for your skintone.

2.  Gray

Black nails can definitely make you feel spooky and powerful, but there’s something so soft and sweet about this delicate gray (Master Plan by Essie).  This color is basically the equivalent of wrapping yourself up in a warm cable-knit sweater.

3.  Burnt orange

Longhorns rejoice! Show your UT pride while flaunting this perfect color for fall.

4.  Bronze glitter

If you’re looking for a little more glitz in your manicure, this navy and bronze glitter combo replicates falling leaves for an adorable look.

5.  Gradients

This dark gradient is perfect for nail art pros who are looking to take their nail game to the next level.  The crimson to black fade out is striking, and the matte finish gives the manicure a clean, classic look.

Paint on, Longhorns!
